6/19/2018 0 Comments May 23Today, we had three business visits on agenda: Sant'Anna Language Institute, an inlaid woodworking shop (owned by the father and uncle of one of the instructors at Sant'Anna), the Bimonte Cameo Work Shop, Sandall Corcione, and we were to end our day with a pizza-making lesson at O Sole Mio.
Not only was today a huge shopping day for the group, but it also provided several great opportunities to delve into the international retail industry. As I've said before, artisanship is extremely important to Italian commerce. Out of all the countries I have ever been to, I would have to say that this statement is exemplified the most in Italy. In a world fueled by consumerism and mass production, it is nice to see such a large amount of respect for craftsmanship and quality.
