Emilie Abroad
Florence. Rome. Sorrento.
a little bit about me.
My name is Emilie Razuri and I am currently a junior studying at the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. I am pursuing a double major in Marketing and Management, as well as a double major in Retail and French.
Some of my personal and professional goals:
- Graduate within 4 years
- Pursue a career in the fashion industry
- Visit 25 countries before I turn 25 (Right now I'm at 24!)
- Become proficiently quadrilingual (someday)
This Summer, I decided to enroll in USC's Marketing Communications in Italy Maymester. The program first peaked my interest freshman year, where it was presented to me as part of a University 101 Study Abroad Presentation. The program offers experience networking in several Italian industries, including excursions to the Polimoda Fashion School, Opera di Firenze, the Sorrento Lingue Language Institute, and many others.
I knew I wanted to enroll almost immediately.
After completing the program's one prerequisite (Marketing 350: Introduction to Marketing course), I met with my advisor and signed up for the program. Time flew by quickly, and before I knew it one of the most memorable trips of my life was complete. I cannot wait to share everything I have learned, while also encouraging you, the reader, to embark on a journey similar to this one.
In this portfolio, I delve into my experiences in three of the most beautiful cities I have visited in my entire life- Florence, Rome, and Sorrento, Italy.
Stay tuned & enjoy.
